People for Pangolins is a non-profit organisation aiming to facilitate the conservation of all 8 Pangolin species found throughout Africa and Asia, all of which are threatened with extinction. Collaborating with international partners, we aim to provide a consultancy service providing grant writing skills and project management advice, supporting conservation projects and organisations in pangolin range countries. We also engage in fundraising activities and campaigns, which raise the profile of pangolin conservation globally. We, at People For Pangolins, understand that though people pose a major threat to pangolins globally they are also the key to saving these endangered animals.
We are a group of highly motivated conservation professionals looking to make a global change with regards to the conservation of pangolins. We plan to create a diverse global network of people and projects involved in pangolin conservation which would facilitate collaboration between organisations. We will promote and support the work being achieved by pangolin conservationists, and encourage and support the establishment of new projects which help address large gaps which currently exist in conservation of pangolins globally. We endeavour to increase the awareness of the plight of pangolins amongst the general public through a comprehensive, exciting and interactive social media strategy. We also plan to hold an array of events generating both interest and funds focused towards pangolins.
